Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Dusty Victorem and McIvor Ernie collided on the first turn checking Dusty Victorem. Frainy's Well checked off McIvor Ernie entering the home straight. Cullquin Vincent and Dusty Victorem collided in the home staright. Frainy's Well and McIvor Ernie collided in the home straight and raced wide. 

Dusty Victorem underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Garry Harding after he presented the incorrect greyhound at kennelling. Mr Harding was found guilty of a breach of GAR 31(1), in that he did fail to present the correct greyhound to Stewards prior to the end of kennelling and was subsequently fined $250.00. 

Numinous - Late scratching at 4.31pm under GAR 37 (4) on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cardiff Bale checked off Darra Dawnne on the first turn checking This Time Bro, Manila Crow and Major Diamond. Wicked One and Major Diamond collided in the home straight. 

Traveliing Sands – New declared weight of 26.8kgs, last raced at 28.3kgs.

Swift Binga was slow to begin. 

Swift Binga, Divine Dixie and Travelling Sands collided on the first turn checking Travelling Sands and severely checking Divine Dixie. Swift Binga raced wide in the home straight.

Scenic Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Too Far Bro and Gallant Toby collided entering the home straight checking Gallant Toby. 

A post-race sample was taken from Sneaky Mojo - the winner of the event.

Our Harriet checked off Harston Flare approaching the first turn checking Magic Panther. Harston Flare checked off All Inn Deeds on the first turn checking Magic Panther and Hot Cruiser. Magic Panther and Hot Cruiser collided in the home straight. 

Harston Flare underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
