Steward's Report
The announcement of All Clear on this event was delayed to allow Stewards to view the video footage of the start of the event after it was noted there was a section of hose partially in front of box 8 (Hot Cruiser). After viewing the video footage and acting on their own observations Stewards were of the opinion that Hot Cruiser's chances in the race were not materially prejudiced and All Clear was declared on the judge’s numbers.
Magic Panther and Gamboa collided soon after the start. Zipping Kiki galloped on Graphic Print on the first turn checking Zipping Kiki, Graphic Print, Magic Panther, Gamboa and Hot Cruiser. Milwaukee Miss faltered approaching the home turn and collided with Blackpool Pantha. Graphic Print and Milwaukee Miss collided on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds and also checking Zipping Kiki, Magic Panther and Hot Cruiser.
Milwaukee Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Graphic Print underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
