Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Spicy Cupcake and Melanistic were slow to begin.

Clonmore and Diamond Socks collided soon after the start. Melanistic and Diamond Socks collided at the 300m mark. Just A Fidget and Quid Pro Quo raced wide at the 250m mark.

Wrong Decision crossed to the inside soon after the start. Aston Camille, Retro Reece and Wrong Decision collided at the 250m mark. Retro Reece checked off Aston Camille at the 100m mark. Aston Camille and Retro Reece collided at the 75m mark.

Retro Reece underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr T. Whitford, the trainer of Retro Reece and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 75m mark.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Finlaystone, a post-race blood sample was subsequently taken.

Levi's Boy and Finlaystone collided soon after the start. Poppo's Grinning and Levi’s Boy collided soon after the start. Gunmandu crossed to the outside at the 150m mark. Saharrah Blitz and Finlaystone collided at the 50m mark and several times to the winning post. 

Bombardier King was slow to begin.

Shaded Disguise, Cool Story Bro and Ivy Girl collided soon after the start. Shaded Disguise and Ivy Girl collided approaching the 300m mark, at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark checking Shaded Disguise. Ivy Girl checked off Ben Doon at the 100m mark.

Swift Succession - New declared weight of 29.4kgs, last raced at 30.7kgs.

Miss Toy - Late scratching at 12:17pm as kennel representative,  Mr J. Formosa, failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Miss Toy for racing. Mr Formosa was fined $300 pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Lennie's Flyer and Swift Succession collided soon after the start. Split Pea and Now And Then collided at the 300m mark and several times to the 250m mark.

Ryder Sir was slow to begin. Lucky Paws, Inter Joe, Time Twister and Titanium Lad collided soon after the start. Amy Amour checked off Haddi Blue at the 250m mark checking Inter Joe, Time Twister and Titanium Lad. Time Twister and Lucky Paws collided at the 200m mark. Titanium Lad and Lucky Paws collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the winning post.

Tat Nuggie was slow to begin.

Incy Valley - Late scratching at 10:18am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms C. Barnard was fined $100.

Superior Dunkley and Play Along collided soon after the start. Feel The Thunder, Born A Guru and Bernmar Junior collided soon after the start. Born A Guru checked off Bernmar Junior approaching the 250m mark. Feel The Thunder checked off Bernmar Junior at the 250m mark. Bernmar Junior and Play Along collided at the 150m mark. Bernmar Junior marred Superior Dunkley approaching the winning post causing Bernmar Junior, Superior Dunkley and Play Along to collide checking Superior Dunkley. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Borradale, the trainer of Bernmar Junior regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Bernmar Junior was charged with marring. Mr Borradale pleaded guilty to the charge, Bernmar Junior is suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blackpool Remi and Burning Express collided soon after the start. Coco Marlow, White Cynder, Blackpool Remi and Maximum Trina collided soon after the start checking White Cynder. Coco Marlow and Blackpool Remi collided at the 250m mark and several times to the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Super Switch.

Doran's Call and Jiggly Wiggly collided soon after the start and again at the 225m mark. Doran's Call galloped on Jiggly Wiggly at the 200m mark and Doran's Call fell as a result. King Brown Trav checked off Ishmy Barry at the 150m mark.

Doran's Call underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the head and bruising to the right hock and left wrist. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Table Top - Late scratching at 10:57am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Courtney Lee - New declared weight of 25.5kgs, last raced at 24.1kgs.
