Steward's Report
Star Ballerina and Bombardier King were slow to begin.
Fairytale Wish and Amp Meter collided approaching the first turn checking Amp Meter. Tiggerlong Rebel, Fairytale Wish and Follow The Que collided on the first turn checking Fairytale Wish. Tiggerlong Rebel and Follow The Que collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Amp Meter and Bombardier King collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bombardier King contacted the rail approaching the home turn.
Mepunga Mila - Stewards queried representative Mr M. Lanigan regarding the change of form in the greyhound since it was beaten by 19 lengths at Horsham on 17/3/2020 and placed on a satisfactory trial. Mr Lanigan explained that subsequent to that meeting the greyhound was found to have a calf injury. Mr Lanigan's comments were noted. A post race sample was taken for analysis.
Bombardier King underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury, a right torn nail and a left hind spike wound to the paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
