Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful heatlh screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Laughed A Lot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted after race 6. Laughed A Lot was found to have split webbing to the left hind paw, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. B. Klemke, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Laughed A Lot was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Klemke pleaded not guilty to the charge, Laughed A Lot was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Who Is Arandt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left fore and rear limbs. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms. E. Knott failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Kaide Bale for racing. Ms. Knott was issued a warning in pursuant to GAR 46 (2)

Brave Hearted - Late scratching at 16:36 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zelma Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen. Zelma Bale was found to have a wound to the right ear. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Hardaway Hana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 11. My Hardaway Hana was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and left back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
