Riverdale Tuohy and Saint Ray collided approaching the first turn. Saint Ray faulted on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Loco Luca and Marvelette collided entering the home straight. Loco Luca galloped on Chachi Arcola approaching the winning post.
Saint Ray underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
