Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Pandora's Hope checked off Super Athletic and collided with Cawbourne Archy and Gypsy Warrior. Dolce You Too checked off Gypsy Warrior on the first turn and raced wide. Gypsy Warrior and Dolce You Too raced wide on the home turn.

Zellweger was quick to begin. Riverdale Shine was slow to begin.

Unknown Warrior checked off Skating Queen on the first turn and collided with Kaya's Pearl. Riverdale Shine checked off Kaya's Pearl approaching the home turn and lost ground. Abalone Fozz raced wide on the home turn.

Post-race sample were taken from Zellweger the winner of the race.

Riverdale Shine underwent a post-race veterinary examination, no apparent injury could be detected. 

Runing For Juddy was slow to begin.

Once A King and Butterfish collided approaching the first turn checking Butterfish which collided with Winlock Squints and Titanium Lad. Fawn Illusion and Riverdale Bear collided approaching the home turn causing Fawn Illusion to contact the running rail. Riverdale Bear and Titanium Lad raced wide on the home turn.

Fawn Illusion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Hussler crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Janray Lucky One and Yondu which collided with Sense. Yondu and Sense collided approaching the home turn. Janray Lucky One and Devil Den collided approaching the home turn. Yondu and Janray Lucky One raced wide on the home turn.
