Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rocky Gully.
Wild Poppy and Rocky Gully were quick to begin. Flossy Jo was slow to begin. Ishmy Dozer and September Dream collided soon after the start. September Dream and Emergency collided approaching the first turn checking September Dream. Flossy Joe was checked off Emergency on the first turn. Jazzier and Rocky Gully collided on the first turn checking Jazzier. Rocky Gully was checked off Wild Poppy on the home turn. Emergency clipped the heels of Ishmy Dozer in the home straight. Rocky Gully crossed in and collided with Wild Poppy in the home straight.
Rocky Gully underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Conway the trainer of Rocky Gully and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
