Modification to starting procedures - Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards directed the Starter to ensure greyhounds were placed in the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Upright, Hitomi Bale and Hillbilly Bone collided soon after the start checking Hitomi Bale.

Hillbilly Bone underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a left wrist sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Carl was slow to begin.

Shooters Ali checked off Quattro Miss on the first turn. Rose Fawn checked off Omar Little entering the home straight.

Hua Hin – New declared weight of 28.7, last raced at 26.7kg.

Zipping Oliver underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race.

Happy Tails was slow to begin.

Quando Quando checked off Zipping Oliver on the first turn. Tat Nuggie checked off Quando Quando on the first turn. Tat Nuggie and Happy Tails collided on the second turn. Hillbilly Boy lost ground entering the back straight.

Hillbilly Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Hendy, the the Trainer of Hillbilly Boy regarding its performance entering the back straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Hillbilly Boy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Butter Chicken – New declared weight of 33.1kg, last raced at 31.8kg.

Tekidanto - Late scratching at 13:35 when Ms. A. Scott reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Janray Lucky One was slow to begin.

Janray Lucky One, Blue Addition and Jitterbug Witch raced wide entering the home straight. Jackie Jai turned it's head outwards and visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Jackie Jai underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. A. Debattista regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Jackie Jai was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Debattista pleaded guilty to the charge, Jackie Jai must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zoe's Intention was slow to begin.

Inter Joe and Slingshot Storm collided soon after the start. Gallant Toby and Uncle Rico collided on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Kraken Ruben, winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hammer Red.

Kelli Pochette and Ko Rapid Jack collided on the first turn checking Ko Rapid Jack.

Filorga Bale and Super Switch collided on the first turn. Super Switch raced wide entering the home straight. Super Switch and Plain Name collided approaching the winning post.

Brave Hearted raced wide in the back straight. Ragged Warrior faltered on the first turn checking Brave Hearted.

Ragged Warrior underwent a post-race vetterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe injury and a left triangle injury. A 21 stand down period was imposed.
