Steward's Report
Where's Spolly – Late scratching at 11:28am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Steven Spolijaric informed Stewards that due to a major traffic incident on-route to the track was unable to get through. Stewards have advised Mr. Spolijaric that evidence of this incident will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Burner Black was slow to begin.
Burner Black and Levi's Me Boy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Thursday Thunder and Maverick Rosa collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide. Thursday Thunder and Maverick Rosa raced wide on the home turn. Thursday Thunder raced wide in the home straight.
