Go The Doves - Late scratching at 11:23am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Vincent Daffy was fined $100.

Team Spolly – Late scratching at 11:26am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr. Steven Spolijaric informed Stewards that due to a major traffic incident on-route to the track he was unable to get through. Stewards have advised Mr. Spolijaric that evidence of this incident will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Taya Bale, Totally Bella, Dewana Chic and Lethal Hawk collided approaching the first turn checking Dewana Chic and severely checking Totally Bella.  Dewana Mechanic and Daisy Mac collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mr. Medico raced wide on the first turn.  Mr. Medico and Dewana Chic collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Hook Along Pippa raced wide on the first turn.  Dewana Mechanic, Daisy Mac and Totally Bella collided on the second turn checking Dewana Mechanic, Daisy Mac and Dewana Chic.  Mr. Medico and Dewana Chic collided in the back straight.  Dewana Chic checked off Taya Bale on the second turn.  Hook Along Pippa visibly eased on the third turn checking Lethal Hawk.  Lethal Hawk and Hook Along Pippa collided approaching the home turn.  Totally Bella and Hook Along Pippa collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Totally Bella, Mr. Medico and Dewana Chic collided in the home straight checking Totally Bella.  Mr. Medico raced wide in the home straight.

Hook Along Pippa underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Trainer, Mr. Robert Colpoys declined a re-examination.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Colpoys, the trainer of Hook Along Pippa regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Hook Along Pippa was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Colpoys pleaded guilty to the charge, Hook Along Pippa is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Lethal Hawk - the winner of the event.

Where's Spolly – Late scratching at 11:28am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). Burner Black and Levi's Me Boy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Thursday Thunder and Maverick Rosa collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Thursday Thunder and Maverick Rosa raced wide on the home turn.  Thursday Thunder raced wide in the home straight.

Cheeky Bumpa - Late scratching at 11:31am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to injury - (laceration to the bottom of the right hind paw). A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Kraken Pat – New declared weight of 31.6kg, last raced at 30.3kg.

Kraken Pat, Phoebe's Angel, Spolly's Beauty and Tiger Spolly collided soon after the start checking Tiger Spolly.  Kraken Pat and Tiger Spolly collided approaching the home turn.  Takaho Tiger and Gone Early raced wide entering the home straight.  Takaho Tiger raced wide in the home straight.  

Takaho Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hock and the thumps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Super Attitude and Pennine Way collided approaching the first turn checking Super Attitude.  Super Attitude, Smooth Talker and No Standing raced wide on the first turn.  Patient Panda and Inga Mikey collided on the third turn and again on the home turn.  Super Attitude and Smooth Talker raced wide on the third turn.  

Mumma's Bear - Late scratching at 10:56am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an illness (Diarrhoea). A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Red Queen and That Will Be were quick to begin.

Flying Solo and Shaun John collided on the first turn.  Mystic Jaguar and Gracelands collided approaching the home turn checking Lucas Rose, Mystic Jaguar and Gracelands.

Boycey Road and Light The Track collided approaching the first turn.  Express Angel faltered on the home turn and lost ground as a result.  Shaggy Rose tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Shaggy Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a deep laceration over the left elbow. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Express Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right achilles tendon injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Boycey Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Blue Irish checked off Superstar Jessie soon after the start.  Foxy Princess and All You Got collided approaching the first turn.  Pilot Pete and Young Rachel collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Cloncurry Girl, Foxy Princess and Pilot Pete collided approaching the home turn checking Cloncurry Girl, Foxy Princess, Pilot Pete and All You Got; Pilot Pete and Foxy Princess raced wide as a result.  Blue Irish and Superstar Jessie collided in the home straight.  Pilot Pete raced wide in the home straight.

Taking Off and Take Home Sadie collided soon after the start.  Taking Off and Tuiaki Dora collided on the first turn.  Take Home Sadie, She Got Fire and Five Lights collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds; Take Home Sadie subsequently pulled up.  She Got Fire and Ruth's Girl collided approaching the home turn.  Ruth's Girl checked off She Got Fire entering the home straight.

Take Home Sadie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right wrist injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
