Rampant Munster underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder joint injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr B Jones, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Rampant Munster was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Rampant Munster must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted

Ragin' Comet was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Kelly, the trainer of Table Top regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Table Top was charged with marring. Mr K Kelly pleaded guilty to the charge, Table Top is suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Banyuatis and Maidenpool were slow to begin.
