Dirk And Rosie was slow to begin. Ellie Mac Lee and Dirk And Rosie collided soon after the start checking Dirk And Rosie. Regal Sound crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Grand, Soho Dingane, Midnight Strike and Prancing Lad. Campaspe Tina crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Ellie Mac Lee, Pyrenees Grand and Dirk And Rosie. Dirk And Rosie raced wide in the home straight. Prancing Lad and Soho Dingane collided in the home straight.
Regal Sound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
