The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Wy Yung Dash and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. Pamela Tabone was fined the sum of $100.

Stewards spoke to Ms Maria Barber, the trainer of Booma Mikado regarding the greyhounds poor performance this evening.  Ms Barber stated that with the greyhound missing the start and being in a later race this may have affected the greyhounds performance tonight, she also stated that the greyhound had trialled here last week running a time of 22.39. Stewards noted her explanation and directed that samples be taken.
