Dyna Orion and Hoss were slow to begin.
Magic Mantle checked off Vee Big Boy soon after the start. Dyna Orion, Hoss and Our Arandt collided approaching the first turn checking Our Arandt. Storm Crossing and Allen Contra collided approaching the first turn checking Allen Contra and Hoss. Vee Big Boy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Storm Crossing, Allen Contra and Dyna Orion. Our Arandt checked off Hoss approaching the home turn. Magic Mantle raced wide in the home straight.
Our Arandt was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and the right triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
