Steward's Report
Dan Overboard was quick to begin. Kolgarde and Black Betsy collided soon after the start. Stinga Blaze and Dr. Debbie collided soon after the start checking Stinga Blaze. Kolgarde and Black Betsy collided approaching the first turn. Va Va Voom and Black Betsy collided on the first turn checking Stinga Blaze and severely checking Black Betsy which tailed off as a result. Flossy Thelly checked off Va Va Voom approaching the home turn. Flossy Thelly galloped on the heels of Dr. Debbie in the home straight.
Black Betsy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Kolgarde, the winner of the event.
