Steward's Report
Lektra Dreamer, Jules Norris, Jake's A Devil and Dyna Morrigan were slow to begin. Lektra Dreamer, Regal Surprise and Jake's A Devil collided on the first turn checking Regal Surprise. Lektra Dreamer, Jake's A Devil and Dyna Morrigan collided on the first turn checking Jake's A Devil. Jules Norris checked off Jake's A Devil approaching the home turn checking Jules Norris and Schmoo. Jake's A Devil crossed to the outside approaching the home turn and collided with Lektra Dreamer severely checking both greyhounds. Lektra Dreamer and Jake's A Devil collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Jake's A Devil was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind leg. No stand down penalty was applied.
