Steward's Report
There For Me was a late scratching at 4.50pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.
Alderaan and Clohs' Mate were slow to begin. Buckle Up Brax crossed in soon after the start checking Jagman and Select Boy. Clohs' Mate and Freesia Bale collided approaching the first turn. Alderaan and Select Boy collided approaching the first turn severely checking Select Boy which contacted the rail. Alderaan contacted the rail on the first turn and lost ground. Jagman and Freesia Bale collided on the home turn checking Jagman. Jagman and Clohs' Mate collided in the home straight.
Alderaan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the left hind whip muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
