Miss Jules was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Olliemax and All One Size were slow to begin.  Dyna Zabian, Reckling and Undercover Girl collided on the first turn checking Reckling and severely checking Dyna Zabian.  Reckling and Undercover Girl collided entering the home straight.  Dyna Zabian and Olliemax collided in the home straight.

Bernmar Pete was quick to begin.  Incumbent and Whispering Wind were slow to begin.  Sam's Kingdom crossed to the rail approaching the first turn causing Bernmar Pete, Dyna Andy, Chole Donnor, Pita Milo and Hurricane Harley to collide checking Dyna Andy, Chole Donnor, Pita Milo and Incumbent.  Chole Donnor and Pita Milo collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Hurricane Harley was checked off Sam's Kingdom on the home turn causing Hurricane Harley to raced wide.  Pital Milo and Whispering Wind collided in the home straight.

Clohs' Mate was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Zipping Layla crossed in soon after the start checking Beamus and Disco and severely checking Hyperbaric.  Select Boy and Zipping Layla collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Beamus and Disco collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Beamus and Hyperbaric. Hyperbaric galloped on Beamus as a result.  Select Boy and Zipping Layla collided approaching the home turn checking Select Boy.  High Style and Vintage Warrior collided on the home turn checking High Style and Clohs' Mate.  Hyperbaric was checked off Select Boy entering the home straight.

Jules Norris went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3.5 lengths).  Boston Blade galloped on Lachlan River soon after the start checking Boston Blade and severley checking Lachlan River.  Conclave and Time To Embrace collided on the first turn.  Hugo To Excel, Jules Norris and Boston Blade collided on the first turn checking Boston Blade.  Bling My Day and Miss Morton Park collided on the first turn.  Hugo To Excel and Jules Norris collided on the first turn checking Hugo To Excel.  Conclave and Time To Embrace collided approaching the home turn checking Conclave.  Conclave and Bling My Day collided approaching the home turn checking Conclave.  Lachlan River was checked off Boston Blade on the home turn.

Sporty Heart was quick to begin.  Dyna Morrigan, Our Tracey and Good Odds Devil collided soon after the start.  Garman Bale and All About Image collided soon after the start.  Our Tracey and Surprise Mecko collided on the first turn checking Good Odds Devil and Surprise Mecko.  Dyna Morrigan and Our Tracey collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Our Tracey.  Good Odds Devil was checked off Our Tracey approaching the home turn.  All About Image marred Garman Bale in the home straight. 

All About Image was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Fasoli the handler of the greyhound All About Image.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged All About Image with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sale and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Senor Gold.

Rashina Reason was quick to begin.  Smurf's Jacko, Addis Revenge, Napalm Red and Senor Gold collided soon after the start checking Napalm Red and Talenroy.  Star City Roller crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Smurf's Jacko, Senor Gold and Valeria Bale and severely checking Addis Revenge which contacted the running rail.  Talenroy and Valeria Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Star City Roller and Senor Gold collided approaching the home turn.  Napalm Red raced wide on the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results:  China Plate trialled over the 440 metres from box 3, weight 27.5kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.44secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8 lengths.  China Plate was cleared.
