Don't Tell Ange was quick to begin. Golden Charm was very slow to begin (4L). Casanova Man and Libby The Ripper collided approaching the first turn. Have A Roadie and King Brown Trav collided on the first turn. Libby The Ripper and Golden Charm collided approaching the home turn checking Libby The Ripper. Don't Tell Ange lost ground on the home turn. Golden Charm checked off Casanova Man in the home straight. Golden Charm raced wide in the home straight.

Don't Tell Ange underwent a post race-veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
