Steward's Report
Sharkey Dragon and Unrivalled Dusty collided soon after the start. Chantilly Mack and Cornhill Tiger collided entering the back straight severely checking Chantilly Mack. Heeza Nippa and Loud Shout collided on the second turn. Heeza Nippa and Loud Shout collided on the home turn checking Heeza Nippa.
Chantilly Mack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. B. Brown, trainer of Loud Shout was fined $200 under GAR86(O) for negligence, in that he has placed the incorrect rug on his greyhound. The error was noticed in the parade area and rectified. The relevant Steward and Parade Official were interviewed in regard to the matter, before being reminded of their obligations in their respective roles.
