Aston Flume was quick to begin. You Sunshine, Dusty Hawke and Global Conflict were slow to begin. Blissful Lomar checked off Broadway Bullet approaching the first turn. Ruby Arizona and Broadway Bullet collided on the first turn. You Sunshine and Dusty Hawke collided entering the home straight. Aston Fume and Broadway Bullet collided in the home straight. You Sunshine and Blissful Lomar collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Dusty Hawke – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Cailah Thai – New declared weight of 30.2kg, last raced at 28.9kg. 

Kurtis Pandora - Late scratching at 17:34 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hind toenail injury. No stand down period was imposed. 

Gasoline was quick to begin. Janray Lucky One checked off Catch Kate on the first turn. Cailah Thai checked off Gasoline approaching the home turn. Gasoline checked off Zipping Aspen entering the home straight. Cailah Thai and Black Katniss collided in the home straight.

Dyna Carl was slow to begin. Pranjip Comet and Shanlyn Rose collided on the first turn checking Pranjip Comet and Kat's Jerry. Pranjip Comet and Dyna Carl collided on the first turn. Pranjip Comet and Dyna Carl collided in the home straight. Pranjip Comet and My Name's Wally collided approaching the winning post.

Short Leash, Special Kirst and Qatar Girl collided on the first turn checking Short leash which contacted the running rail on the first turn. Short Leash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Sharkey Dragon and Unrivalled Dusty collided soon after the start. Chantilly Mack and Cornhill Tiger collided entering the back straight severely checking Chantilly Mack. Heeza Nippa and Loud Shout collided on the second turn. Heeza Nippa and Loud Shout collided on the home turn checking Heeza Nippa.

Chantilly Mack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. B. Brown, trainer of Loud Shout was fined $200 under GAR86(O) for negligence, in that he has placed the incorrect rug on his greyhound. The error was noticed in the parade area and rectified. The relevant Steward and Parade Official were interviewed in regard to the matter, before being reminded of their obligations in their respective roles.

Watched was slow to  begin. Cornhill Rebel, Cavatate and Mr. Rain Maker collided on the first turn checking Cornhill Rebel and Cavatate. Rose Fawn, Watched and Perfect Player collided on the second turn checking Rose Fawn. Watched and Perfect Player collided approaching the home turn checking Cornhill Rebel and Perfect Player. Rose Fawn and Cavatate collided on the home turn.

Krypton Girl and Rival Natalie collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rival Natalie raced wide entering the home straight.

Rival Natalie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left sesamoid and right chest muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Nerve Settler, Midnight Titan and Musketeer Oasis collided soon after the start checking Midnight Titan. Silver Cupcake, Nerve Settler and Musketeer Oasis collided on the first turn checking Nerve Settler and Musketeer Oasis. Midnight Titan and Wynburn Jackson collided approaching the home turn.
