Steward's Report
Sedaka and Saintly Jack collided approaching the first turn, checking Saintly Jack. Medina and Buddy Goes Bang collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Calendar Boy tired over the concluding stages of the race.
Calendar Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hind webbing abrasions. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. C. Hughes regarding the performance of Calendar Boy in this event. Mr Hughes explained that the greyhound was returning to racing from having a toe removed from the right hind. Mr Hughes added that the greyhound had not trialled or worn tape prior to this event and that he will be closely monitoring the greyhounds upcoming performances.
