Our China Plate and Jaimandy Carl were slow to begin.
Uprising checked off Jan's Star on the first turn. Uprising and My Fernando Tim collided approaching the home turn. Jan's Star and Lily The Weapon raced wide entering the home straight. Jan's Star and Lily The Weapon collided in the home straight.
Jan's Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right back muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
