In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 22.7 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.9 degrees. 

Madame Pookie was quick to begin. Dancing Rose, Stride For Pride and Awesome Asset collided soon after the start. Milly Van Allan, Dancing Rose and Mustered Courage collided on the first turn checking Stride For Pride and severely checking Dancing Rose. Stride For Pride galloped on Dusty Hawke approaching the home turn. Milly Van Allan galloped on Mustered Courage on the home turn. Stride For Pride and Dusty Hawke collided on the home turn.

Flying Banjo was slow to begin. Rocky Infrared crossed to the rail on the first turn. Quattro Miss, Hitomi Bale and Blue Paradigm collided in the back straight checking Hitomi Bale.and Blue Paradigm.

A post-race sample was taken from Banjo's Ghost, winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Narcelle, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Lisa's Edge was slow to begin. Quick Income and Narcelle collided soon after the start. Ink Spot, Big Cam, Ruby's Rosa, Refueled and Kid Callum collided soon after the start checking, Big Cam, Ruby's Rosa and Refueled. Big Cam checked off Quick Income approaching the first turn. Ink Spot and Quick Income collided on the first turn checking Ink Spot and Narcelle.

Dyna Carl was slow to begin. Brindle Delight, Push Start and Sarcasmic collided on the first turn checking Push Start. Push Start and Dyna Carl collided approaching the home turn.

Step Aside was slow to begin. Smokey Renn and Winlock Jetty collided soon after the start. Longbow, Oscar De Lonhro and Less Ordinary collided on the first turn checking Longbow and Oscar De Lonhro. Longbow, Step Up Maggie and Step Aside collided on the second turn checking Step Aside. Smokey Renn checked off Less Ordinary on the second turn and raced wide as a result. Smoke And Embers and Winlock Jetty collided on the home turn. Smokey Renn raced wide in the home straight.

Kaide Bale and Crystal Bling collided soon after the start. Kaide Bale, Crystal Bling, Fly By Them and Sin Dinero collided on the first turn checking Broken Pieces, Kaide Bale and Crystal Bling. Fly By Them and Sin Dinero collided entering the back straight. Broken Pieces, Crystal Bling and Spyfection collided on the second turn checking all three greyhounds. Kaide Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Tennyson Girl was quick to begin. Blistering Betty was slow to begin. Fawn Regrets and Dyna Jenaya collided soon after the start. Tennyson Girl and Blistering Betty collided in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Bring The Spring, winner of the event.

Agent Que was slow to begin.  Railway Burra, Krypton Girl, Crymelon Kit and Sukhoi Su collided on the first turn checking Agent Que, Crymelon Kit, Diamond Bling and Clovalley Mauri.

Pirate Lee and Any Luck were slow to begin. Pirate Lee, Especial One, Jetta's Shout and Especial Elise collided approaching the first turn. Ivy Girl and La Coconut collided on the first turn.

Short Leash was quick to begin. Devil's Cartel and Qatar Girl were slow to begin. Ivalise Allen and Chasin' Bobbi collided on the first turn.

Clovally Mansumi was quick to begin. Hagrid Grange and Bushman's Billy were slow to begin. Lonesome Spring went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Crackerjack Tys and Coconut Gloria collided approaching the first turn checking Coconut Gloria. Lonesome Spring raced wide in the home straight.

Clovally Granite and Pyrenees Classic were quick to begin. Lava Lamp was slow to begin. Tuesday's Grace and Pyrenees Classic collided on the first turn checking Pyrenees Classic, Further Dreamer and Lava Lamp. Our China Plate and Tuesday's Grace collided on the home turn checking Our China Plate. Lava Lamp and Our China Plate collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
