Kinloch Journey crossed to the rails soon after the start, checking Sassy Keats and You Blast. Trinity Bale checked off National Level at the 250m mark. Sassy Keats and You Blast collided at the 250m mark. Sassy Keats and National Level collided at the 200m mark. 

Hot Holly was slow to begin. 

Deal's Up, Molly Magic and Mighty Matilda collided soon after the start. Grumpy Derek crossed to the rails at the 300m mark and collided with Table Top and Deal's Up. Midnight Mission checked off Grumpy Derek at the 250m mark. Deal's Up, Table Top and Mighty Matilda collided at the 200m mark. Mighty Matilda and Table Top collided approaching the winning post. 

Mighty Matilda underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

As Only Is – New declared weight of 28.9kgs, last raced at 27.5kgs.

Pookie Smurf stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. 

Off An' Gone crossed in soon after the start and collided with Blackpool Ammo, checking Rival Prince and Blackpool Ammo. As Only Is checked off Totally Know at the 250m mark. Rival Prince checked off Miss Winks at the 150m mark. Federal Estate galloped on Totally Know at the 50m mark.

Steel Magnolia and Big Plans collided soon after the start. Federal Wozza checked off Fun Time Mikado at the 250m mark. Secret Package and Diamond White collided at the 250m mark. Federal Wozza and Fun Time Mikado collided at the 50m mark. 

Master Winslow and Rocky Two were slow to begin. 

Tonnes Of Zip and Rocky Two collided soon after the start. Rocky Two checked off Folding Green soon after the start. Calcaneal crossed to the rails at the 300m mark, checking Walk On Bye. Special Kirst and Folding Green collided at the 150m mark. Walk On  Bye visibly turned it's head and collided with Calcaneal approaching the 50m mark causing Walk On Bye to lose ground. 

Walk On Bye underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right dew claw, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Bernard Seymour, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Walk On Bye was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Seymour pleaded not guilty to the charge, Walk On Bye was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Alfie Mikado, Wolf Point and Kranskey were slow to begin. 

By Your Side checked off Tiki Monteya at the 300m mark. Alfie Mikado and By Your Side collided at the 250m mark. 

Temporalis - Late scratching at 11:33am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms Kathryne Tabb was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Serious Bolt.

Ryder Sir was quick to begin. 

Challis Sprite and Dirty Max collided soon after the start. Challis Sprite, Okay Kirsty, Dirty Max and Fernando Drums collided approaching the 300m mark, checking Challis Sprite. Okay Kirsty and Fernando Drums collided several times from the 350m-250m mark, checking both greyhounds. Simply Smarter checked off Rippa Regis at the 150m mark. Spring Nugget crossed out at the 100m mark and collided with Spring Nugget, Okay Kirsty and Fernando Drums, checking Okay Kirsty and severely checking Fernando Drums which stumbled and lost ground. Madonya checked off Rippa Regis at the 150m mark. 

Fernando Drums underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore split webbing, an abrasion to the left toe and laceration on the left fore leg and right metacarpal. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Worker – Late scratching at 9:12am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Ms Jess Fothergill informed Stewards that she had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Blonde Bella and Gazza's Pick collided several times from soon after the start to the 300m mark. Nunniong Miss and Gazza's Pick collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Nunniong Miss, Blonde Bella and Rapid Hennessy and severely checking Gazza's Pick.
