Destini Trucker was quick to begin.  Meehan Deano, Shevchenko and He Shall Johnny collided soon after the start checking Shevchenko.  Shevchenko galloped on Shady Tex on the first turn checking Shady Tex, Meehan Deano and He Shall Johnny.  Meehan Deano faltered approaching the home turn and raced wide.  Meehan Deano raced wide in the home straight.

Meehan Deano underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising/contusion to the left hock.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Jonathan's Rose was quick to begin.  Turn Him Around and Roger That collided approaching the first turn checking Roger That.  Alon and Wild Angel collided on the first turn checking Alon.  Priority Pass and One More Light  collided on the first turn checking Priority Pass and Turn Him Around.  One More Light tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Beatrice and Akina Moss were slow to begin.  Beatrice, King Colt and Akina Moss collided soon after the start checking Akina Moss.  My Attitude checked off Mumma's Bear on the first turn.  My Attitude, Beatrice and Spokane Flick collided in the back straight.  Seve Rose and Mumma's Bear collided in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. J. Gill after she failed to engage a catcher for Beatrice in this event. (GAR 48).

Samp De Keats, Princess Rachma and Harmony Hall were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Dr. Liana crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Bandwagon.  Akina Archer and Dundee Vulcan collided on the home turn.  Samp De Keats and Bandwagon collided approaching the winning post.

Go Tango was slow to begin.  Dr. Rayna, Once A Secret and Dundee Jazz collided soon after the start.  Bulk Billed and Swift Ellie collided approaching the first turn checking Swift Ellie.  Dr. Rayna, Swift Ellie and Once A Secret collided on the first turn.  Once A Secret faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently pulled up.

Once A Secret underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Grand Devinci underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left achilles tendon injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Tess underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
