Steward's Report
Placid Murphy - Late scratching at 2:29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an abraded webbing on the right foreleg paw injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Corry Kas was issued with a warning after the greyhound Magical Bling was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.
Five Lights was quick to begin.
Farfalla Nera and Five Lights collided on the first turn checking Farfalla Nera, Aladdin Prince, Magical Bling and Mega Hazel; Farfalla Nera fell as a result. Aladdin Prince and Magical Bling collided on the home turn.
Five Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have evidence of hypoxia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Farfalla Nera underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist, right shoulder and left lumbar. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Club Official Mr. Shaun Courts was reminded of their responsibilities after the greyhound Magical Bling was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.
