Flossy Lee was slow to begin.
Speedy Ryder checked off Leeroy Rox soon after the start. Dynamic Street, Flossy Lee and Sense collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds and causing Flossy Lee to stumble. Fast Freddie checked off Leeroy Rox on the first turn. Dynamic Street and Sense collided approaching the home turn. Sense and Fast Freddie collided approaching the home turn checking Fast Freddie.
Fast Freddie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
