Smooth Talker was slow to begin. 

Glory Road and Emperor Apple collided on the first turn, checking Emperor Apple. 

Cosmic Vigilante was slow to begin. 

Poppo's Darling and Hong Kong Apple collided soon after the start, checking Hong Kong Apple.  Cosmic Vigilante and Hong Kong Apple collided on the first turn, checking Cosmic Vigilante, Hong Kong Apple and Limerick Prince.  Hong Kong Apple checked off Poppo's Darling on the first turn. 

Mother Hannah was quick to begin. Teardrop was slow to begin. 

New York Diva and Triskelion collided soon after the start, checking New York Diva.  New York Diva and Teardrop collided on several occasions in the back straight, checking Teardrop.  Triskelion faulted approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result. 

Triskelion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury, right triangle injury and right hock sprain injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Hasta Manana was slow to begin. 

Fast Trapper, Sky Breanna and Shaun John collided soon after the start, checking Sky Breanna; which stumbled as a result.  Monkey Mite and Fernando's Flare collided approaching the first turn.  Completed, Fast Trapper, Shaun John, Light Of Tanjil and Fernando's Flare collided on the first turn, checking Completed, Shaun John, Lights Of Tanjil and Monkey Mite.  Shaun John and Fernando's Flare collided on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Gettysburg - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr M. Lanigan regarding the race manner of Miss Vonshae on the first turn. Mr Lanigan explained that the greyhound prefers clear galloping room and is not suited when racing among other runners. Mr Lanigan's comments were noted. 

Select Bully was slow to begin.  

Destini Cheetah, Agent Voilet, Don's Trouble and Select Bully collided approaching the first turn, checking Don's Trouble and Select Bully.  Agent Voilet and Dodge Coupe collided on the home turn, checking Agent Voilet. 

Big Dance and Short Note were slow to begin. 

Rodeo and Mini Fernando collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Big Dance, Rodeo and Mini Fernando collided on the first turn, checking Rodeo and Mini Fernando. Mini Fernando contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result.  Rodeo raced wide on the home turn.  

Rodeo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Mini Fernando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right calf. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards opened an inquiry into the preparation of Big Dance for this event with Representative Mr C. Darmanin. After taking initial evidence from Mr Darmanin regarding the kennel's husbandry and training practices the inquiry has been adjourned to evaluate the evidence presented. A post-race sample was taken from Big Dance.

Miss Maia and Nobel Prize collided soon after start.  Barbados Dream and Coyote Ugly collided soon after the start.  Harrell Bale, Joe's Gold and Barbados Dream collided on the first turn, checking Harrell Bale, Joe's Gold and Miss Maia.  Nobel Prize and Coyote Ugly collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Winslow Lodge and Joe's Gold collided in the home straight, checking Winslow Lodge.

Mt. View Gift and Exford Lass collided soon after the start.  Play Along crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Mt. View Gift and Exford Lass.  Exford Lass faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result.  He's Alexis and Play Along collided on the home turn, checking Play Along.  Play Along and Heart Beats True collided on the home turn, checking Heart Beats True and Big Cam.  Bombardier King checked off He's Alexis in the home straight.  Big Cam and Heart Beats True collided in the home straight, checking Heart Beats True. 

Exford Lass underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Crash Landing was slow to begin. 

Alter Ego and Gary Grey Goose collided soon after the start.  Galloping Nikki, Sin Dinero and Take A Daisy collided soon after the start.  Sin Dinero and Take A Daisy collided on the first turn, checking Take A Daisy.  Take A Daisy contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and fell as a result.  Alter Ego checked off She Got Fire on the home turn, checking galloping Nikki. 

Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions left stifle. No stand down period was imposed.

Sudden Call checked off Pyrenees Inferno approaching the first turn.  Aurora Miss and Take A Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Placid Murphy checked off Take A Rose on the first turn.  Pyrenees Inferno crossed to the railon the first turn, checking Gojek.

Magic Will – Field of 4, Distance 460m, Weight 27.9kgs, Box 3, Placed 4th, Time Run 27.40. Comment: Not cleared. Eased on the first turn. Underwent a post-trial veterinary examination, no apparent injury detected.
