Steward's Report
Paid Too Much, Firelight Twist and Maximum Tiff were quick to begin.
Unbuckled and Enya Bale collided approaching the first turn. Maximum Tiff and Riverdale Tuohy collided approaching the first turn checking Maximum Tiff. Paid Too Much lost ground approaching the first turn and trailed the field. Firelight Twist and Enya Bale collided entering the home straight. Rotarua and Riverdale Tuohy collided in the home straight.
Paid Too Much underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right sesamoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Frank Meyer, the trainer of Paid Too Much regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance of Paid Too Much unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Paid Too Much must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
