Steward's Report

Infinity Stone, Milly Mac and Vroom Vroom were slow to begin.

Infinity Stone checked off Milly Mac approaching the first turn. Milly Mac and Little Fernando collided approaching the first turn, checking Little Fernando. Sofie Gogolac and Offaly Blonde collided on the first turn, checking Offaly Blonde. Chill Out Virgo and Offaly Blonde collided on the first turn, checking Chill Out Virgo, Offaly Blonde, Sofie Gogolac and Little Fernando. Cruise Control visibly eased on the first turn. Chill Out Virgo and Sofie Gogolac collided approaching the home turn, checking Sofie Gogolac.

Cruise Control underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right quadriceps and a abraded right hind paw, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Mr. P. Radstock regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Cruise Control was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Radstock pleaded guilty to the charge, Cruise Control must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post race sample was taken from Milly Mac - the winner of the event.
