A pre-race sample was taken from Parry Allen.
Valletta Mist was quick to begin.
Parry Allen, Nitro Gee and Octo Flash collided approaching the first turn. Supasonic Saz and Nitro Gee collided approaching the home turn, checking Supasonic Saz. Parry Allen checked off Joker's Mate entering the home straight.
Supasonic Saz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right sartorius muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Valletta Mist - the winner of the event.
