Super Hard underwent a post-race veterinary examination  - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr C Blake, the handler of Super Hard and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.

Cruise Control underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right quadriceps and a abraded right hind paw, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Mr. P. Radstock regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Cruise Control was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Radstock pleaded guilty to the charge, Cruise Control must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fast Trapper checked of Quick Session on the first turn. Manny Allen, Aston Verve and Fast Trapper collided approaching the home turn, checking Fast Trapper. Manny Allen, Fast Trapper, Aston Verve and Dynamic Street collided, checking all greyhounds and causing Aston Verve to turn inwards and Dynamic Street to stumble.
