I'm Circus and Nut And Bolt were slow to begin. Super Stoked and Captive Prince collided approaching the first turn. I'm Circus and Super Stoked collided on the first turn. Krisbar Blue Fox and Nut And Bolt collided entering the home straight. Super Stoked raced wide in the home straight.

Track Curator Mr M.Pell advised that the track was medium harrowed on 1 September, 2019.

An inquiry was adjourned into the reasons why Ms J. Fothergill left the course after being directed to attend to the Stewards room. Ms Fothergill was subsequently fined $100 under GAR 86(o) for negligence in that she has failed to attend to the Stewards room when directed to do so.
