Steward's Report
Ruby's Rosa, Smooth Roster and Praise Me were slow to begin. Shez Code Blue, Sin Dinero and Gypsy Jean collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Sin Dinero. Sin Dinero, Ruby's Rosa, Smooth Roster and Sheza Code Blue collided on the first turn, checking Sin Dinero. Smooth Roster and Sheza Code Blue collided approaching the home turn. Smooth Roster lost ground entering the home straight. Praise Me visibly eased and collided with Shez Code Blue in the home straight.
Smooth Roster underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Praise Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr D.Keanelly, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Praise Me was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Keanelly pleaded guilty to the charge, Praise Me must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
