Bugsy Magic went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Offaly Blonde and Swordfish Fozz collided soon after the start, checking Swordfish Fozz. Wayne's Way and Awesome Asset collided approaching the first turn. 

Swordfish Fozz underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Ms J.Fothergill the representative of Swordfish Fozz regarding the greyhounds performance in todays event. Ms Fothergill stated that she thought that the greyhound would gain a place in the race.  Ms Fothergill also explained that the greyhound had not raced for approximately 5 weeks which may have contributed to the performance.

Buddy Boy and No Standing collided approaching the first turn, checking No Standing. David's Way and No Standing collided on the first turn. Stan's Hope, David's Way and Gardener's Boyo collided approaching the home turn, severely checking David's Way. Stan's Hope and Gardener's Boyo collided on the home turn. Stan's Hope clipped the heels of Gardener's Boyo entering the home straight. No Standing and Gardener's Boyo collided entering the home straight. 

Ruby's Rosa, Smooth Roster and Praise Me were slow to begin. Shez Code Blue, Sin Dinero and Gypsy Jean collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Sin Dinero. Sin Dinero, Ruby's Rosa, Smooth Roster and Sheza Code Blue collided on the first turn, checking Sin Dinero. Smooth Roster and Sheza Code Blue collided approaching the home turn. Smooth Roster lost ground entering the home straight. Praise Me visibly eased and collided with Shez Code Blue in the home straight. 

Smooth Roster underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Praise Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr D.Keanelly, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Praise Me was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Keanelly pleaded guilty to the charge, Praise Me must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Janray Rastus was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Bashful Boy and Catalina Icon collided soon after the start. Bashful Boy and Kraken Bo collided approaching the first turn. Barunga Bullet and Ragged Warrior collided on the first turn. Bashful Boy, Kraken Bo and Catalina Icon collided on the first turn, checking Catalina Icon. Bashful Boy and Barunga Bullet collided approaching the home turn. Janray Rastus raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Ragged Warrior and Barunga Bullet collided approaching the winning post.

Shooters Ali was slow to begin. Make Mine Money, Wendy Maria and Galilahi collided on the first turn, severely checking Wendy Maria, causing Make Mine Money and Galilahi to fall. Chicken Twistie and Smoke And Embers collided approaching the second turn. Shooters Ali raced wide in the home straight. 

Make Mine Money underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left and right toes. No stand down period was imposed.

Galilahi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left thigh. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Millie's Angel was quick to begin. Further Dreamer and Blazin' Stripes collided soon after the start, checking Further Dreamer. Agent Que and Dewana Chat collided soon after the start. Further Dreamer and Honestly Bob collided on the first turn. Blazin' Stripes and Dewana Chat collided on the first turn. Agent Que and Adriel collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking Agent Que. Agent Que, Further Dreamer and Honestly Bob collided approaching the home turn.

Onya Prankstar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey musles injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

An inquiry was adjourned into the reasons why Ms J. Fothergill left the course after being directed to attend to the Stewards room. Ms Fothergill was subsequently fined $100 under GAR 86(o) for negligence in that she has failed to attend to the Stewards room when directed to do so.
