No Problem John, Firework Joey and Smooth Roster were slow to begin.
No Problem John crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Firework Joey. Tex Ribs crossed to the inside at the 250m mark and collided with Dirty Boston. Dirty Boston and Tex Ribs collided at the 200m mark checking Firework Joey. Tex Ribs checked off Dirty Boston at the 150m mark checking Firework Joey. Rail Remover faltered at the 150m mark. Rail Remover and No Problem John collided approaching the 50m mark checking Rail Remover.
Rail Remover underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left carpal and left deltoid muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
