Know Success was quick to begin. Ninetymile Donny was slow to begin.
Fast Freddie and Adori collided approaching the first turn checking Fast Freddie. Zero To Hero and Sports Gairn collided on the first turn checking Sports Gairn. Sports Gairn raced wide on the home turn checking Adori and Very Venom. Fast Freddie and Very Venom collided entering the home straight checking Fast Freddie.
Fast Freddie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
