Stewards spoke to Mr I Robertson, the trainer of Heart Beats True after reviewing all the available footage the stewards issued Heart Beats True a warning on racing manners in the home straight. Heart Beats True underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ashby Quick, Turnaround Tina and Nella Bale were quick to begin.

Dust Up checked off Nella Bale approaching the first turn. Go Shirvo Go, Dust Up and Shadrack raced wide approaching the home turn. Go Shirvo Go raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

High Tenacity was quick to begin.

Air Commander eased in the home straight and turned it's head outwards and collided with High Tenacity. High Tenacity and Air Commander collided in the home straight.

Air Commander underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr T Boehmke, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Air Commander was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Boehmke pleaded guilty to the charge, Air Commander must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Yaala Eclipse was slow to begin.
