Wayne's Way and Rose Fawn collided soon after the start, checking Wayne's Way. Shooters Ali and Smoke And Embers collided on the first turn. Shooters Ali raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Aston Savannah clipped the heels of Rose Fawn in the home straight and stumbled.

Woody's My Name – New declared weight of 32.4kg, last raced at 31.2kg.

Woody's My Name and Janray Rastus were slow to begin. Woody's My Name galloped on the heels of My Girl Sissy on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Heart Beats True and Janray Rastus collided on the home turn. Heart Beats True, Janray Rastus and Sheza Code Blue collided in the home straight, causing both greyhounds to race wide. 

Woody's My Name underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the right calf. No stand down period was imposed.

My Girl Sissy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Destini Cheetah clipped the heels of Menzies Avenue approaching the home turn, checking Destini Cheetah. Zero To Hero, Hammer Red and Millie's Angel collided entering the home straight. Millie's Angel raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr J.Formosa, the handler of Gold Odessa and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.

Miss Heart and Another Bling collided on the first turn. You Aussie and Dyna Jenaya collided on the second turn. Pyrenees Petraca and Miss Heart collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Jenaya and You Aussie collided entering the home straight. Dyna Jenaya raced wide in the home straight.

Meeting Comments:

Measured – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Healesville on 16 September, 2019. Measured was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Measured was cleared to race. 

Chill Out Virgo – Field of four starters, Distance 425m, Weight 23.2kg, Box 1, Placed 3rd, Time Run 24.58. Chill Out Virgo Not Cleared, Comment: Eased Approaching Winning Post.

GRV Stewards today finalised an inquiry into an incident that occurred on-track following race three. After taking evidence from officials, the Stewards issued a charge to Mr C.Webb under GAR 86 (q). The specifics of the charge is that Mr Webb engaged in conduct following Race 3 which is detrimental or prejudicial to the interests of greyhound racing, by swearing in a loud manner.  Mr. Webb was found guilty and fined $250. Mr S. Webb was reminded of his obligations as a catcher to always conduct himself in a proper manner. All participants should note that a trainer's license is a privilege, not a right and that there are consequences for poor behaviour or conduct.
