A pre race sample was taken from MacBurner.
MacBurner, Vienna Miss, Estrela Escura, Mepunga Mission and Vera Allen were slow to begin. Estrela Escura and Mepunga Mission collided soon after the start checking Estrela Escura. MacBurner checked off Vienna Miss soon after the start checking Estrela Escura. Barbie Boy, Vienna Miss and Mepunga Mission collided approaching the first turn checking Barbie Boy. Barbie Boy and Vienna Miss collided on the first turn checking Barbie Boy which lost considerable ground and tailed off as a result. Vera Allen and Bella Lestrange collided approaching the home turn checking Bella Lestrange which raced wide as a result. Vienna Miss and Mepunga Mission collided on the home turn checking Vienna Miss.
Barbie Boy was vetted and after being re-vetted following event six, it was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right metacarpals and right penil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
