Accomplished, Mitch Sparrabush and Dunstall were slow to begin.
Mitch Sparrabush, Dunstall and Dundee Toro collided approaching the first turn checking Dunstall. Accomplished, Mepunda Ranger, Twistex and Hallelujah Henry collided on the first turn checking Twistex and Dundee Toro. Accomplished and Mepunga Ranger collided approaching the home turn checking Hallelujah Henry and severely checking Mepunga Ranger. Twistex and Dundee Toro collided entering the home straight. Mepunga Ranger checked off Twistex in the home straight.
Mepunga Ranger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a muscle injury to the left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
