Steward's Report
Loves It was slow to begin.
Wood Cutter Stan crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Talk And Run, High Light Star and Western Man. Western Man and Loves It collided several times approaching the first turn severely checking Loves It which contacted the running rail as a result. High Light Star and Talk And Run collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Loves It was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind pencil muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
