Hoss was slow to begin.

Fun Time Ally faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Lektra Lois, Atlas Surprise and Hoss collided approaching the first turn. Atlas Surprise and Hoss collided on the first turn. Lektra Lois checked off Far Too Many on the home turn. Far Too Many and Where's Red collided entering the home straight. Far Too Many, Where's Red and Hoss collided in the home straight checking Hoss and Where's Red. Far Too Many eased in the home straight.

Fun Time Ally was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Gibbons, the representative of the greyhound Far Too Many. Far Too Many was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both shoulders, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Far Too Many with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
