Steward's Report
Banjo Sally was quick to begin. Skittle and Bloke's Advice collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Skittle was checked off Gypsy Hook on the first turn. Bloke's Advice was checked off Dorrigo Bale on the first turn checking Piccolo Fratello. Skittle, Little Samara, Bloke's Advice and Piccolo Fratello collided on the first turn. Piccolo Fratello was checked off Gypsy Hook on the home turn. Skittle raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards delayed giving the all clear to view all available video footage of the start of this event after the Starter and Steward failed to ensure all greyhounds were in position to be boxed,resulting in a delay in the boxing of Skittle . After viewing the video footage Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was disadvantaged and the all clear was given.
After taking evidence from Mr. J. Absalom the trainer of Skittle and Mr. M. Jones the trainer of Bloke's Advice Stewards accepted their explanation and took no further action.
Stewards spoke to starter Mr. G. Brown and Steward Mrs. B. Mason regarding the incident and referred this matter to their appropriate Managers.
