Shantelle Rose was quick to begin.  Dinkydi Sweetie was slow to begin.  Dr. Grayson contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  El Bakarly and Dinkydi Sweetie collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Dr. Grayson underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Magic Voyage and Madalia Daisy collided soon after the start checking Magic Voyage.  Magic Voyage, Madalia Daisy and Lethal Hawk collided on the first turn checking Lethal Hawk.  Ashby Star and Our Golden Bro collided on the first turn.  Miss Monster was checked off Montaro in the home straight.

Ashby Slick - late scratching at 7.44pm on the advice of the On Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hint Of Magic, Rapid Response and Pedda Pal were slow to begin.  Jayville Tahlia and Pedda Pal collided soon after the start.  Panda Rose and Jayville Tahlia collided soon after the start.  Hint Of Magic and Akina Ivy collided approaching the first turn checking Akina Ivy.  Akina Ivy and Rapid Response collided on the first turn checking Panda Rose and severely checking Akina Ivy and Rapid Response, Rapid Response contacted the running rail as a result.

Rapid Response underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left hind leg.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Tornado was quick to begin.  Khandela was slow to begin.  Dr. Luna crossed in approaching the first turn checking Dr. Luna, Ferny Flat Miss and Blue Tornado and severely checking Hook Along Book and Dr. Brissa, Hook Along Book and Dr. Brissa fell as a result.  Blue Tornado contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Ferny Flat Miss and Dr. Luna collided on the first turn checking Ferny Flat Miss.  Dr. Luna and Khandela collided on the home turn.

Blue Tornado underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have and injured right shoulder joint.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hook Along Book underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Dr. Brissa underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Crazy Happy and Muza's Angel were quick to begin.  Lottie Glenda, My Attitude and Annie Rose collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  Lottie Glenda and Annie Rose collided on the first turn.  Crazy Happy and Muza's Angel collided on the first turn checking Crazy Happy.  Ear We Come was checked off Crazy Happy on the first turn.  Ear We Come and Lottie Glenda collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Sharky Shark was quick to begin.  Hot Pies, Patch Whelan and Loufie collided soon after the start checking Hot Pies and Patch Whelan.  Patch Whelan and Loufie collided approaching the first turn checking Patch Whelan.  Loufie crossed in approaching the first turn checking Hot Pies.  Loufie and Just Love collided on the first turn checking Loufie, Just Love, Hot Pies and Patch Whelan.

Timmy Tunga was slow to begin.  Pennine Way crossed in soon after the start checking Zipping Wade.  Mrs. Flinstone crossed in on the first turn checking Pennine Way, Thistle Rock and Zipping Wade.  Timmy Tunga crossed in on the first turn checking Thistle Rock.  Mrs. Flintstone and As Only Is collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mrs. Flintstone and As Only Is collided in the back straight.  Top Silk raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Brayden Lennox was slow to begin.  Bigwig, Mahi Indian, Pilot Pete and Liam Roxon collided approaching the first turn checking Pilot Pete.  Bigwig, Mahi Indian, Pilot Pete and Liam Roxon collided on the first turn checking Bigwig, Mahi Indian and Pilot Pete causing Bigwig to lose ground.  True Gem and Brayden Lennox collided approaching the home turn checking Brayden Lennox.  Liam Roxon and Brayden Lennox collided on the home turn checking Liam Roxon.

Akina Archer was slow to begin.  Jayville Slick and Akina Spice collided soon after the start.  Akina Spice and Akina Archer collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Jayville Slick brushed the running rail on the first turn checking Akina Spice and Akina Archer.  Parabellum raced wide in the home straight.

Top Gem was quick to begin.  Goldrush Rose was slow to begin.  Tansy and Natural Cruiser collided approaching the first turn checking Tansy.  Beau Gem and Top Gem collided on the first turn checking Beau Gem.  Tansy galloped on Top Gem on the first turn causing Top Gem to race wide checking Goldrush Rose.  Beau Gem raced wide in the home straight.  Tansy and Natural Cruiser collided approaching the winning post.

Banjo Sally was quick to begin.  Skittle and Bloke's Advice collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Skittle was checked off Gypsy Hook on the first turn.  Bloke's Advice was checked off Dorrigo Bale on the first turn checking Piccolo Fratello.  Skittle, Little Samara, Bloke's Advice and Piccolo Fratello collided on the first turn.  Piccolo Fratello was checked off Gypsy Hook on the home turn.  Skittle raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards delayed giving the all clear to view all available video footage of the start of this event after the Starter and Steward failed to ensure all greyhounds were in position to be boxed,resulting in a delay in the boxing of Skittle .  After viewing the video footage Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was disadvantaged and the all clear was given.

After taking evidence from Mr. J. Absalom the trainer of Skittle and Mr. M. Jones the trainer of Bloke's Advice Stewards accepted their explanation and took no further action.

Stewards spoke to starter Mr. G. Brown and Steward Mrs. B. Mason regarding the incident and referred this matter to their appropriate Managers.

Akina Cosmo was quick to begin.  Fran Keeping and Shaggy Rose collided soon after the start.  Kingsbrae Boof and Menzies Avenue collided on the first turn checking Menzies Avenue.  Fran Keeping, Owlette and Shaggy Rose collided on the first turn checking Fran Keeping.  Owlette was checked off Shaggy Rose on the first turn.  Menzies Avenue and Shaggy Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Menzies Avenue and severely checking Shaggy Rose.  Kingsbrae Boof and Bush Bro collided approaching the home turn.  Macalister Mac and Akina Cosmo collided in the home straight.

Shaggy Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left elbow.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
