Natsu Bale, Hint Of Magic and Love To Deed were slow to begin.

Where's Spolly race wide from the first turn to the home turn.  Astrolithology checked off Hint Of Magic on the first turn.  Big Bro Zesta and Natsu Bale collided on the home turn.  Delancy Bale crossed to the rail on the home turn and contacted the running rail checking Astrolithology as a result.

Two Metre Peter was quick to begin.  Swamp Donkey was slow to begin.

Gunmandu and Jagora Bale collided on the first turn checking Jagora Bale and Social Byte.  Korama and Swamp Donkey collided on the home turn.  Swamp Donkey and Gunmandu collided approaching the winning post.

Spolly Bear - Late scratching at 5:56pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr S. Spoljaric was fined $100.

Encantador was quick to begin.  Rodrigo Bale and Usain Spolly were slow to begin.

Rodrigo Bale and Bubba Jo collided on the first turn severely checking Bubba Jo, Why Not Rose and causing Usain Spolly to race wide.  Encantador checked off Begonia Bale approaching the home turn.  Kiwi Hustler and Begonia Bale collided on the home turn.  Encantador and Rodrigo Bale collided entering the home straight severely checking Encantador and checking Usain Spolly.  Kiwi Hustler and Begonia Bale collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Encantador and Bubba Jo collided approaching the winning post. 

Kiwi Hustler underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Light The Track and Fifty Dollar collided approaching the first turn checking Light The Track.  Beanology, Folding Green and Light The Track collided on the first turn checking Folding Green.  Folding Green checked off Matilda Mikado on the third turn.  Fifty Dollar checked off Ishmy Lady in the home straight.  

Shanlyn Deano was quick to begin.

Antares Star and Lady Bang Bang collided soon after the start.  Ivey's Affair raced wide on the first turn severely checking Tech Stock, Antares Star and Threadin' Mikado, Tech Stock fell as a result.  Shanlyn Deano checked off Mepunga Daniel on the first turn checking Whodat Lookin'.  

Antares Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left groin injury and an abrasion to the right wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tech Stock underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Kimani – New declared weight of 26.7kgs, last raced at 25.6kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Norton.

Zipping Norton and Wears Woodleigh collided soon after the start. Wears Woodleigh checked off Yeller Bale approaching the first turn checking Wears Woodleigh and I'm The Poppet.  Kimani and Okay Kirsty collided on the first turn.  Yeller Bale checked off Okay Kirsty approaching the second turn.  Kimani turned its head and marred Okay Kirsty approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Wears Woodleigh and Okay Kirsty collided entering the back straight.  I'm The Poppet raced wide in the back straight.  Wears Woodleigh and Dyna Artist collided approaching the third turn checking Dyna Artist.  

Kimani underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Imlach, the trainer of Kimani regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Kimani was charged with marring. Mrs Imlach pleaded guilty to the charge, Kimani is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Bash Healy, Staggerism and Zekel Bale collided soon after the start.  Spolly's Buddy raced wide on the first turn checking Princess Pulse.  Dundee Spectre and Princess Pulse collided approaching the second turn.

Miss Potential was quick to begin.

Bush Blossom and Lightwood Lass collided soon after the start.  Reggae Mikado and Shamrock Boy collided soon after the start.  Lightwood Lass and Hip Hippy Shake collided approaching the first turn.  Shamrock Boy checked off Lightwood Lass on the first turn checking Hip Hippy Shake.  Reggae Mikado raced wide on the first turn.  Shamrock Boy checked off Hip Hippy Shake approaching the home turn.  Lightwood Lass and Shamrock Boy raced wide in the home straight.  Miss Potential visibly eased approaching the winning post and collided with Slingshot Prince.

Miss Potential underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10 - no apparent was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Ralph, the representative of Miss Potential regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Miss Potential was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Ralph pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Potential is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Prior to the running of this event. Stewards dispensed of the race day requirements of the Hot Weather Policy as per section 31. The outside temperature was 25 degrees.

Lennie's Flyer was slow to begin.

Superior Dunkley and Shakalaka collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Shakalaka checked off Mystic Jaguar approaching the first turn.  Vinnia bale and Rock Me Lloyd collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Marie raced wide in the home straight.  Rock Me Lloyd clipped the heels of Jilly Jacovich approaching the winning post.

Lord Davinci – New declared weight of 29.2kgs, last raced at 30.5kgs.

Princess America checked off Lord Davinci on the first turn.  Toby Time and Miss Laquisha collided on the first turn.  Lord Davinci raced wide in the home straight.

Why Not Leo was quick to begin.  Brave Traveller and Thrill Me were slow to begin.

Thrill Me checked off Sultan Bale approaching the first turn.  Shaun John checked off Why Not Leo on the first turn.  Problem Solved raced wide on the first turn severely checking Thrill Me.  Shaun John and Why Not Leo collided on the home turn.  Why Not Leo raced wide in the home straight checking Brave Traveller.  

Bloke's Advice underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be bleeding from the mouth. No stand down period was imposed. 

Kraken Jacki was quick to begin.  Blue Afro was slow to begin.

Jebrynah Green and Southern Edge collided approaching the first turn.  Bjorn Ironside checked off Lucas Rose approaching the first turn.  Bjorn Ironside galloped on Paw Licious on the first turn checking Jebrynah Green, Lektra Miss, Blue Afro and severely checking Southern Edge and Paw Licious.

Southern Edge underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Paw Licious underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
