Steward's Report

Miss Potential was quick to begin.

Bush Blossom and Lightwood Lass collided soon after the start.  Reggae Mikado and Shamrock Boy collided soon after the start.  Lightwood Lass and Hip Hippy Shake collided approaching the first turn.  Shamrock Boy checked off Lightwood Lass on the first turn checking Hip Hippy Shake.  Reggae Mikado raced wide on the first turn.  Shamrock Boy checked off Hip Hippy Shake approaching the home turn.  Lightwood Lass and Shamrock Boy raced wide in the home straight.  Miss Potential visibly eased approaching the winning post and collided with Slingshot Prince.

Miss Potential underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10 - no apparent was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Ralph, the representative of Miss Potential regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Miss Potential was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Ralph pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Potential is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
