Steward's Report
Stewards spoke Mr Jordan Formosa representing the trainer Mr Jason Formosa regarding the number starts the following greyhounds have had over a short period of time: Blazing Sword between 2/07/19 and 15/07/19 (13 days - 5 starts); Aston Xanadu between 1/07/19 and 15/07/19 (14 days - 5 starts); Swift Abbey between 1/07/19 and 15/07/19 (14 days - 5 starts). Mr Formosa stated that all greyhounds are checked the day after racing, not trialled between races and they are only given light exercise in the runs between racing engagements. Mr Formosa also stated that provided the dogs maintain form and health they continue racing. Stewards noted Mr Formosa's explaination.

Due to a technical malfunction the semaphore board displayed Race 5 in error.
Swift Abbey was slow to begin.
Swift Abbey raced wide in the home straight.
Cullquin Cersei underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was then re-examined following race 8. Cullquin Cersei was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 21 stand down period was imposed.
Stylish Chief underwent a veterinary examination following Race 9 and was found to have a laceration to the right fore paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
